SalaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and professional Financial Accountant to join a dynamic Financial Services firm. As a Financial Accountant your responsibilities will include preparing monthly reconciliations, coordinating month-end close processes, managing working capital requirements, and assisting with tax returns. You will also liaise with external accountants on matters related to tax, accounting, compliance, among others. This role requires someone who can multitask effectively while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Key responsabilities:
* Prepare monthly reconciliation of all company bank accounts
* Coordinate month-end close and manage working capital requirements across the Group
* Prepare Accounts Payable batches and setup payments
* Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly BAS and annual payroll tax returns
* Support the Finance Manager with external accountants regarding tax, accounting, compliance matters
* Perform other duties as required by the role or directed by the CFO or Finance Manager

Key Requirements:
* 1-3 years experience in an accounting related role
* Relevant Accounting/Finance degree
* Desire to study CA/CPA
* Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Highly motivated and hard-working attitude
* Professional personal appearance and manner
* Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
* Proven ability to be flexible and adaptable
