About the Role
The Finance and Accounting department is responsible for the timely provision and analysis of financial information to all business units and to assist them in achieving their objectives. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the groups tax, banking and compliance function, together with providing support to the Financial Accounting team.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Income tax, PAYG, GST, FBT, Statutory reporting, Annual Audit, ABS surveys
- Preparation of accounts reconciliations including bank reconciliation
- Daily cash forecast and banking requirement
- Month end and year end closing
- Foreign currency hedging
- Coordination of annual audit
- Liaise with external bankers when required
- Liaise with operations to prepare weekly cashflow forecast and assess working capital requirement
- Adhoc work as requested by the Financial Controller & Finance Manager
About You

Your Skills
You will need to bring your exceptional Accounting skills to the fore. This includes:
- Accounting degree working towards CA/CPA designation
- Previous experience in Public Practice or Financial Accounting role in a medium to large organisation
- Statutory reporting with a high level of understanding in taxation and experience in the preparation of BAS, Tax, FBT etc
- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- High attention to detail
- High level of MS Office
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work with limited or no supervision
- Good customer service skills
- Self-motivated and disciplined approach to work
- Current and unrestricted drivers licence
