The Company

Our client is a growing and successful global medical device manufacturer. With offices in Australia, USA, Germany and Singapore, they are currently looking for a Financial Accountant to sit in their St Leonards office. This company will double their revenue and look to continue saving and improving the lives of its customer base. Our client offers a stable and friendly working environment that will allow this Financial Accountant to work autonomously. On offer is great job stability, security and working from home hybrid arrangements. 

The Role

As the Financial Accountant, you will enjoy working in a small finance team reporting to the Financial Controller. This is a straightforward, yet pivotal role where you will be primarily responsible for:

• Financial Accounting – fixed asset register, journals, adjustments
• Financial Reporting – preparing the P&L and Balance Sheet, monthly regional reports and analysis
• Payroll fortnightly
• AR and banking duties
• Audit and taxation
• Budgeting and forecasting on sales, commissions, and profitability reports

Your Background

We are looking for candidates with an eye for detail who love working in a professional and friendly environment. You will have to satisfy a majority of the following criteria to be eligible:

• Degree-qualified and studying towards a CPA/CA or already qualified
• At least 2-3 years of experience as a Financial Accountant having prepared the P&L and Balance Sheet as well as supported the month-end process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

This role is best suited for a candidate wanting a stable Financial Accountant role with good job security within a small and close-knit office environment.
