About the role:
Reporting to the Pricing and Financial Planning Specialist, the role is part of a collaborative team where you will contribute to the Financial Planning & Analysis function of the organisation. By applying your commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills you will be supporting the management & improvement of the enterprise long term financial plan and supporting tools. Providing insightful analysis and advice to ensure the organisations financial sustainability, identification of opportunities to meet strategic goals through scenarios analysis and ensure legislative and compliance reporting requirements are met.
About you:
To contribute to Unitywater’s values of Reliability, Safety, Honesty & Integrity, Efficiency, One Team, Innovation, you will demonstrate the following skills and qualities for the role:
- To be successful you will have demonstrated Financial Planning and analysis, and investment evaluation skills;
- Advanced level financial modelling skills;
- Relationship Building and Influence – the ability to build long term relationships with stakeholders and peers; and
- Possession of an Accounting/Commerce Degree from a recognised tertiary institution. Post graduate studies in Financial Planning would also be highly regarded;
- Membership of an appropriate professional organisation (CPA/CA qualified);
- Written and verbal Communication – the ability to effectively present complex information clearly in written or verbal form.
