Financial Reporting Manager

Our client, an established Financial Services Group with a Group with a focus on real estate and private equity. Due to some recent investment activity they are looking to recruit are looking to recruit a Finance Manager
We are looking for a suitably experienced Finance Manager / Senior Financial accountant to operate in partnership with the Leadership team You will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager and have responsibility for the review of all Financial Reporting, transactions and acquisitions.
Preferably, you should possess a professional background in business services and expertise in the real estate industry. Your role will involve collaborating with the transaction team and assuming overall accountability for Financial Reporting, management, and property accounting. Additionally, you will be responsible for business planning and analysis, as well as providing comprehensive commercial and technical guidance to the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include;

• Financial analysis and reporting;
• Managing the annual budgeting process;
• Managing the monthly re-forecasting and reporting processes including variance analysis;
• Constructing financial models and tools for management decisions and controls;
• Assisting with financial modelling and analysis on property acquisitions;
• Liaise with external auditors and tax accountants with regard to the preparation of tax returns; and

Skills and experience

• Minimum 4years' experience in a similar role
• CA / CPA qualified along with relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting;
• Strong experience in analysis and reporting;
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of accounting standards and regulations, legislation and management accounting techniques;
• Demonstrated high level of organisational skill and ability to work under pressure, to deadline;
• Previous property or private equity experience preferred
