Key duties:
- Processing allfinancial transactions following Nulsen’s accounting & trust procedures,Including:
- Financialprocessing of all incoming and outgoing transactions to the GL (AR, AP,invoicing) on a timely and accurate basis
- MaintainingNulsen’s residents trust account system, Nulsen’s housekeeping imprest accountsand the residents pocket money imprest accounts
- Reconciliationand reimbursement of Promaster and Weel
- Resident’spensions, mobility allowances and other personal transactions includingmedical, clothing, holiday expenditures and others.
- Raisingaccommodation fees for each resident for the month according to the billingschedule, process journals in Certinia and bank transfer on Commbiz.
- Issuing reportsto clients and managers at the end of each month detailing expenditure andreceipts for the month
- Seeking approvalfrom public trustee and other parents for personal expenses.
- Ensure interestreceived on the trust bank accounts is credited to the service users on aprorate basis.
- Ensure Nulsen’sresidents trust bank account is reconciled, and transactions recorded correctlyfor month end closure.
- Liaises withaccommodation staff regarding issues associated with pensions, personalspending etc. Process recharge/ reimbursement as required.
- Provideeffective and timely responses to incoming queries from families, guardians,public trustee, Centrelink, accommodation support team and other management.
- In charge ofresident’s board, prepare monthly detailed reports, analysis data formanagement in accurate and timely manner.
You will need to have:
- Experience usingCertinia is highly desirable but not required (training provided)
- Accounting degree/ background is desirable.
- Strong /advanced excel skills.
- Australiancitizenship or be a permanent resident of Australia
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- CurrentAustralian driver’s license
