Pertronic Industries is a manufacturer and supplier of advanced automatic fire detection systems for use in commercial buildings such as high rise office blocks, apartments, hospitals, hotels, shopping malls and warehouses. We have distribution branches located throughout Australia and New Zealand to provide Technical Support and assistance to our customers.
As part of continuing growth, we have a Sales &Technical Support position available at our Perth office. The successful candidate will report to the branch manager also based in Perth. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing product support and solutions to customers
- Managing and supporting relationships
- Providing training to customers
- Responding to potential business opportunities
- Manage contact with customers on a regular basis and promote products & services.
- Visit consultants and other relevant industry groups to promote the company’s product range.
- Prepare sales quotations.
- Assist with daily branch operations including deliveries and stock management.
This is a permanent full-time position. An attractive, market competitive salary including a fully maintained company vehicle or allowance is offered as well as product specific training.
The role is only suitable for individuals who have experience in the fire protection industry in Australia.
Essential characteristics for this role include:
- Able to work autonomously and set priorities;
- Customer focused – both internal and external;
- Working knowledge of appropriate fire industry standards
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven customer service and problem solving skills;
- Experience with fire detection and emergency warning systems.
- A high level of computer processing literacy and confidence
