Cairns Colonial Club Resort is a self-rated four star low-rise Resort property situated on eleven acres of award winning tropical gardens. The Resort has 345 rooms with 2 Restaurants and 2 bars, 3 swimming pools with swim up Bar and a fully equipped Conference Centre.
We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Team Leader to work in our resorts Restaurants. Permanent Part Time role. Must have an RSA and experience in a similar role. Role includes breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts and weekends, but No Split Shifts.
The successful applicant will display:
Previous experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor in similar role preferably in a Hotel/Resort environment
Ability to lead by example and oversee Food and Beverage Attendants and their performance whilst on shift
A strong Work ethic with a passion and enthusiasm for great customer service
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work autonomously and produce excellent service in a fast paced environment
Be able to implement, monitor and maintain Food and Beverage standard operating procedures.
Conduct staff training for staff both on and off the job, facilitate multiskilling and effective induction for new staff.
Conduct performance appraisals as required.
Oversee rosters and monitor daily attendance, timekeeping, sick leave and annual holidays of all service staff in collaboration with the Director of Food & Beverage.
Proven knowledge and experience in making Cocktails and great Coffee
