Food Equipment Service Technician

Founded in 1879, J L Lennard is a family-owned, Australian company that imports and distributes a range of products from world-renowned Food Equipment, Packaging and Graphics manufacturers in Europe, America and Japan. J L Lennard operates throughout Australia as well as New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Due to growth in the QLD market, we are looking to appoint Food Equipment Service Technicians to join the team.

Your duties include, but are not limited to:   

• Break down and repair service, planned maintenance, installation and pre-delivery of all brands and models of catering equipment sold by J.L.Lennard. Training of customers in correct operation of our equipment.   
• These tasks will be any that fall under your qualifications as an Electrician, Gas Fitter or Refrigeration Mechanic.   
• After hours rostering or after hours technical support as advised in advance by State Service Co-Ordinator. Standby allowance as per agreement - $200 for each week participating in the on-call roster. This also includes Saturday rostering – also advised in advance.   
• You will be required to ensure that your presentation and uniforms are kept in a professional manner and you will always ensure that you wear any PPE that is required to fulfill your role in the profession you are qualified.   
• You will be provided with a Service Van and it is your responsibility to ensure the van is clean at all times both inside and outside. The spare parts van stock will be counted at least once every year and it is your responsibility to ensure all parts are accounted for.   
• Complying with all lawful and reasonable directions of J.L.Lennard.   
• Not engaging in any unlawful conduct in the course of your employment, while at work premise or when using J.L.Lennard resources   
• Complying with all J.L.Lennard policies, as implemented, varied or replaced from time to time.

In addition to the duties outlined above, you are also required to perform such other duties as may be directed by your Supervisor or Management provided these are within your competency or training.
