Situated opposite Albert Park Lake, our dual-property has 378 rooms, dining and bar, and one of the largest conference spaces in Melbourne with 31 conference rooms. We welcome guests into our gorgeous light-filled lobby and make them feel welcome and at home. Whether they are staying in our Pullman Executive rooms, or our Mercure standard rooms,  we offer our guests a contemporary dining experience, well-equipped gym, pool and spa, on-site parking and easy access to the CBD.


Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Front Office professional to join our team. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will: 

  • Lead a shift of Front Office professionals, ensuring our guest experience is at the forefront at all times
  • Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining procedures for the Front Office department and fostering a focus on guest engagement
  • Assist with the management of the team including training and development, ensuring the team’s success
  • Handle complex guest queries and feedback

Qualifications


  • Previous supervisory experience with proven success
  • A passion for hospitality and enthusiasm for working with people from all over the world
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Desire to grow your skills and progress your managerial experience
  • Previous experience with a PMS (Opera experience will be highly regarded)
  • Reliability & flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings and weekends 
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and First Aid certification (or be willing to obtain)
  • Full working rights in Australia - we are not able to offer sponsorship for this role
