Pelican Shores Estate is a lifestyle village designed especially for the over 50’s and the young at heart. The estate boasts a serene waterfront location in Leopold and offers independent living in a safe and secure community environment.  

We are currently looking for a Casual Front Office Receptionist to join our friendly team. 

Reporting directly into the Village Manager, this role will suit someone who loves interacting with people and has the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

  • Reception/ Admin/ Data Entry and general duties
  • Assistant with booking and conducting tours and sales enquiries. 
  • Meet and greet residents and visitors.
  • Responding to resident and guest enquiries
  • Marketing and social media management. 
  • Provide administrative support to the Village Manager
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Provide sales support to the Sales and Village Manager.
  • Undertake other duties as directed by management.

The successful applicant must possess;

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Proven customer service experience.
  • Reservation System Experience e.g., Newbook/RMS preferable, although training will be provided for the successful applicant.
  • Stable work history and able to work unsupervised.
  • High level of communication and written skills.
  • Cash handling Experience.
  • Broad level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook & SharePoint)
  • Excellent personal presentation with a friendly disposition
  • Working Days - Monday & Tuesdays with flexibility if required 

The rate of pay for this role is based on the Hospitality General Award.
