Proposed salary: 70K to 80K a year plus superannuation
Tasks
- Handle and prepare all food items with strict adherence to sanitation and safety guidelines
- Maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Monitor and manage food inventory, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste
- Kitchen staff mentoring & training
- Stay informed about industry trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Enhance menu offerings and overall dining experience
Required Skills and experience.
- Preferably studied Cookery and Diploma of hospitality management
- Have at least 2 years of experience
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure all OH&S compliance is achieved
