Position Overview: As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing outstanding customer service while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your role will be crucial in ensuring a seamless experience for patients, Doctors, and Allied Health Practitioners.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate appointment calendars
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and professionally
- Verify patient information and insurance details
- Collect payments and process billing accurately
- Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
