The Channel 7 Children’s Research Foundation (CRF) is a not-for-profit charity organisation dedicated to enriching the lives of children through research.
Since 1976, our grant funding programs have helped to advance quality research into improving the health, education and welfare of children.

The role
As our Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator, you will develop and manage donor and sponsorship relationships and deliver contemporary marketing communications with brand awareness to support the CRF to achieve its organisational goals. You will be responsible for coordinating a range of events and activities to grow CRF’s net annual Fundraising and giving income, and to expand CRF’s donor network.
Other activities will include:
- Planning, preparing and implementing communications initiatives, including eDMs, media releases, story-pitching, online content and editorial, speeches, and event materials.
- Building awareness of CRF’s grant funding programs to attract quality research applications, and to celebrate research developments and outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders including government departments, SA Health, research organisations, CRF member organisations, and relevant industry/sector providers.
Reporting to the Executive Director, you will enjoy working as part of a small, dedicated team and being able to operate at a strategic level while being hands on.

This role is offered on a full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) basis.
About You
You’re a fundraising professional with marketing or communications experience, preferably with knowledge of the not-for-profit sector. You have the skills to develop and implement an effective fundraising strategy to meet the CRF’s organisation and grant revenue goals and be involved hands-on in its implementation. You have a proven history of meeting fundraising revenue goals.
You have a driver’s licence and your own reliable transport, and hold (or are willing to obtain) a South Australian Working With Children Check.
