We are currently seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to serve as our Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator. The Fundraising & Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing Communications Manager and works closely with the philanthropy and fundraising teams to deliver key fundraising and marketing objectives.
This includes database administration (Raisers Edge), donor care support including donor calls, donation processing, social media content, digital marketing and fundraising campaign support, and events coordination.
This is a key role in a small team will help us achieve our vision to give safety, hope and opportunity to vulnerable young Australians.

The opportunity
The role will provide daily support to a small and passionate team. To be successful in this role, you will need a service approach with exceptional communication skills, strong planning, time management and prioritising skills. Excellent written skills are important, as is initiative and the ability to multi-task.
This individual will have the opportunity to play a key role by supporting the Foundation to deliver on priority supporter communications, events, and administrative duties, and help the team to achieve their quarterly and annual objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Donor Engagement: Cultivate relationships with donors through personalised communications and donor care activities, managing donor calls, processing finances, receipting, and inquiries.
- Fundraising Support: Assist in the development of fundraising campaigns, funding proposals, presentations, and Trust & Foundation applications to secure vital funding.
- Database Management: Maintain and update donor databases (Raiser's Edge), generating insightful reports to help inform strategic decisions.
- Executive Support: Provide administrative support to the Management Team, contributing to the achievement of quarterly and annual objectives.
- Strategic Communication: Coordinate organisational communications including Annual Report and quarterly newsletters, ensuring a consistent and engaging message.
- Digital Marketing: Execute social media communications and digital community engagement strategies to expand our reach and impact.
- Event Coordination: Manage event logistics and timelines, ensuring seamless execution of fundraising and engagement events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Relevant Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar fundraising role, with proficiency in Raiser's Edge or equivalent CRM systems.
- Communication Expertise: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and build meaningful relationships.
- Organisational Prowess: Strong time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a small-team environment.
- Collaborative Spirit: A team player with a proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and a strong service orientation.
- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
