William Sheahan Funerals is a family-owned and operated funeral service located in Drysdale, Victoria. We have a position available for a Full-time Funeral Administration Assistant
About the role.
• The applicant must be able to multi-task and can adapt and work in a changeable workplace.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Plan, coordinate and implement all aspects of the funeral service for a family and inform them of the various options available to honour their loved one.
• Work closely with the family from first contact to guide them through what is required and respond to their requests with service options and solutions.
• The ability to understand and be respectful of circumstances involving grieving families, their values, and beliefs.
• A friendly, caring, and professional attitude and enjoy working in a team environment.
• The ability to take instructions and follow them, with a high attention to detail.
The position is Monday to Friday (availability over school holidays is essential)
Skills & experience:
• Experience with Xero is desirable.
• Must have competent computer skills.
• Ability to work independently & in a team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
