Wymap People are seeking a General Manager to lead and develop the team to achieve both individual and business unit goals. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the daily operation of the business. They will be responsible for maintaining the standard of work from employees, as well client negotiations and the development of new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and use measurable processes that ensure all staff have individual and team objectives / goals which are achievable, agreed and monitored regularly;
- Ensure that all tasks and activity within the branches are executed in accordance with organisational process, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
- Mentor and performance manage team members for optimum outcomes in line with business plan and business values;
- Provide and contribute to accurate budget forecasts and revenue projections as required by the business.
- Meet and exceed sales KPI’s set by the business;
- Maintain a portfolio of target clients which will be managed to maximise opportunities via short, medium and long term sales strategies;
- Implement strategies to harness growth of existing clients within the blue and white collar sectors of the Supply Chain Industry;
- Quote fees, explain and sell the range of services & benefits provided by Wymap People. Cross promote the other Wymap Group of Company products;
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of relevant Awards & EBA’s and industry changes that affect the labour hire industry;
- Develop professional proposals and tenders, written quotes and conduct formal presentations;
- Regularly undertake SWOT analysis (or alternate effective business analysis) to ensure appropriate resource allocation and direction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience;
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial leadership role, ideally within the road & aviation transport industry or recruitment within the road & aviation transport industry;
- Strong track record of delivering successful commercial results;
- Strong business acumen and understanding of marketplace dynamic;
- People leadership and team management experience;
- Ability to pass a fit and proper person check (Federal Police Check)

- A highly motivated and high-impact individual with prior experience
- Highly disciplined in developing, implementing, and maintaining Client Accounts / Supplier Service Level Agreements.
- Possess excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders within a complex business environment.
