About the Role
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the company. This includes planning and implementing strategies to achieve business goals, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The General Manager will also lead and develop a high-performing team, foster a positive work culture, and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
The role requires a versatile individual with exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills. The ability to travel both, locally and internationally, when required, is essential.
Job Description
- Managing all operational aspects within the business to ensure it is managed at a profitable level, ensuring that revenue, cost and profit targets are achieved.
- Monitoring costs relating to the operational functions of the business, including transport and service expenses.
- Ensuring effective relationships are developed and maintained with regulatory authorities and bodies, external stakeholders and suppliers.
- Inspire and guide all departments with strategic direction, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Formulating overall strategies and driving future development to usher in new growth.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Requirements
- Candidate with at least 15 years’ experience in a similar position with a successful track record for achieving incredible sales results.
- Experience with the sales, service and hire of generators is essential.
- Abundant resources overseas, especially in China.
- With a proven track record of successful operations in China or other Asian Countries.
- Successful management experience in a large company.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English and Mandarin).
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with all stakeholders.
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
- High level of organization.
