Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our operations and drive our strategic vision forward. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations, including production, finance, human resources, and sales. This role demands a leader with a robust background in engineering, particularly in injection moulding tools, who can ensure operational excellence, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's vision and objectives, ensuring sustainable growth.
• Oversee daily operations across all departments (production, procurement, finance, HR, sales) to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team to achieve excellence in operational performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage financial performance by developing and monitoring budgets, setting financial goals, and implementing strategies to increase profitability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and occupational health and safety guidelines.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and partnerships.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in product development, production processes, and technology adoption.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and new business development.
• Report to the board of directors on company performance, challenges, and strategic direction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in a leadership role within the engineering or manufacturing sector, preferably in injection moulding or related fields.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and strategic planning.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to injection moulding and manufacturing.
• Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
