As the General Manager you will be leading a strong organisation with 430 staff to develop a city that is green, connected and inclusive, liveable, prosperous and vibrant, effective and accountable. The new Metro line creates a prime opportunity to strengthen sustainable transport, and grow housing, employment and lifestyle features.

We are seeking a visionary leader to inspire staff and stakeholders to achieve Willoughby’s significant potential. You will be a visible leader who establishes strong community connections and builds influential relationships with other levels of government and stakeholders.

It is essential that you have exceptional relationship skills to partner councillors, develop high performing cultures, and advocate strongly for effective governance. You will have senior executive experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams in complex services organisations and have strong political acumen, however local government experience is not essential.
