Form of workA privately owned, accommodation & hospitality company is recruiting a new full time onsite General Manager.
The opportunity to manage and expand this quality accommodation business. The Queanbeyan Market is robust and benefits greatly from its proximity to Canberra.
The candidate will ideally be experienced or on a clear progression path in the accommodation and hospitality sector, and we would consider a candidate who has the right credentials for a change of career. We will consider a partnership team under the right circumstances.
The Manager profile:
- Excellent customer service mindset
- Energetic and positive demeanour around the hospitality and the guest experience.
- Understanding and usage of key business systems - RMS booking system, Voip phone system.
- Experience & competency with payroll & monthly financials systems ie Xero.
- Appreciation of active communication.
Key responsibilities:
- Engage at Group level in the development and execution of a clear business grow strategy & priorities.
- Manage guest reservation direct, online and via Online travel agencies
- Schedule and quality control housekeeping, maintenance and grounds keeping staff.
- Actively drive online line socials to maximise our connection with our customers - past, present and future.
- Respond to critical after hours situations
- Reliability to operationalise a staffing roster. The business operates seven days a week and weekend work is required.
