About the role:
This role would suit a Speech Pathologist with great team working skills, looking for a role with good support and opportunities for development!
We are a dedicated, supportive and aspirational team, looking for staff who can contribute to our strong team culture, high patient focus and drive for high standards of Speech Pathology care.
As a Grade 1 Speech Pathologist you will be supported to become responsible for providing high quality patient care across, acute and sub-acute inpatient clinical settings. As a member of the Speech Pathology team, the Grade 1 Speech Pathologist will be required to assess, plan, recommend and implement a wide range of Speech Pathologist support to inpatients recovering from, for example, trauma, surgery, acute illness, or neurological deficits.
We have a focus on developing staff to achieve their interests and career goals through quality improvement projects and emerging specialisations. Regular clinical supervision is provided to all team members, alongside daily support from a mentor, fulltime manager and senior clinicians. This position has the added benefit of support through the onsite Allied Health Education team who provide structured early career support programs. Our Allied Health Professionals are a key part of our health care teams, working together to achieve the best possible health and wellbeing outcomes for our clients. This position, amongst others, is responsible for promoting GV Health as a quality regional health service provider.

We are looking for
- Strengths in team working with a collaborative approach across the MDT and with patients and families
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience in the management of adults with disorders of communication and swallowing within a hospital setting
- New graduates are welcome to apply
