Would you like to work directly with a Female Architect and director with over 30 years of experience.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Graduate of Architecture to join our small studio in Ipswich, the fastest growing region in Australia.
We are designing commercial and residential projects and you will be asked to work across many projects from the beginning to the end. There will be design and client facing opportunities to test your design and presentation skills.
You will need excellent skills in design and documentation of projects in 2d and 3d CADD including revit, Autocadd, photoshop, Lumion, 3d max, illustrator and other skills as required by client and project.
Other tasks will includes preparing client briefs, finishes schedules, research into BCA, Australian Standards and other general design standards required to comply with client requirements. Great communication is extremely important and we are looking for a confident and passionate person with a zest for life and design.
Carolyn McLean has worked across Australia, Asia and the South Pacific over her 30 year career and we are currently working on new airport terminals in the Pacific. Overseas as well as Australian projects will be part of the work that you will become involved with.
Our studio is located in the heart of Ipswich CBD which is seeing a flourish of unique small businesses. We are close to the train station and a number of great coffee shops and cafes. Once established, we can offer flexible working terms with one day working from home and 4 days in the studio.
We are offering a full time contract position for 12 months for the right candidate and the salary will range between $75,000 - $85,000 per annum depending on experience. This is inclusive of the mandatory superannuation. You will need to demonstrate the ability to legally work in Australia.
