We are currently seeking a talented Graduate Assistant Accountant to join our finance team based in the south of Sydney. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and driven individual with a solid grounding in accounting principles.
Key responsibilities:
- Credit Control & Debts Recovery – ensure revenue from all business units are received within the credit term and follow up any overdue debts in a timely manner, outbound collections calls, managing credit limits on new and existing customers to mitigate credit risk
- Daily Banking and allocation
- Set up new customer profiles include credit check, maintaining and accurately updating customer records
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving disputes promptly and effectively
- Liaise with branch staffs to resolve rental queries
- Assisting in end of month and year account reconciliations & auditing
- General office duties
- Ad hoc work as and when required
The ideal candidate will have:
- CAR RENTAL WORKING EXPERIENCE WILL BE HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Diploma qualification or above
- Exposure to Car Rental System & MYOB EXO would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills
- Excellent time management skills and a proactive approach to customers as well towards other stakeholders
- Driver Licence is preferable
