Cascade (Australia) Pty Ltd is part of the global Cascade Corporation with our head office in Portland, Oregon, USA. In Australia, we have a significant operation which manufactures and supplies a broad range of forks, forklift attachments and accessories for the Materials Handling Market.
Currently, we have an opportunity for a Graduate Customer Service / Sales Engineer. This position will report to the Customer Service Manager and is part of our Internal Sales team at our Darra offices.
The successful applicant will take responsibility for:
- Ensuring complete Customer Service excellence
- Liaising with engineering group to ensure technical customer requests and quotations are actioned in a timely and accurate manner
- Actioning direct and indirect customer emails, requests for quotes, and parts enquiries
- Taking and responding to incoming customer calls.
- Order entry and order management through to customer delivery.
- Liaising with the internal production team to ensure all customer expectations are achieved on special manufactured products.
To be successful in this role we require you to have:
- Multiple skills across Customer Service and technical sales
- Ability to understand engineering parts manuals, drawings and concepts
- ERP (ideally Oracle/JDE) and CRM (Ideally Goldmine) Systems exposure advantageous
- Precise data entry skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to improve business processes.
