The Role
This newly created position is an opportunity for a new Graduate to launch their recruitment career. You will be trained in all aspects of the role, and you do not need prior experience in the industry. Working closely with experienced team members you will love the opportunity to learn and grow from a balance of formal training and on the job learning. We anticipate this role will progress to a stand alone Recruitment Consultant position, with access to lucrative commission structure, in time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Recruitment administration including resume preparation, database management etc
- Research including market mapping, keeping abreast of company updates and projects as directed
- Candidate sourcing using technological solutions such as SEEK Premium Talent Search, LinkedIn recruiter
- After extensive training, you will be conducting initial phone screen and interviewing of early career job seekers
- Social media maintenance, preparing newsletter and other marketing activities
- Other projects and administration as required
No recruitment or HR experience is required for this position, however you will need to have completed, or be close to completing a Bachelor degree in Australia and have full working rights. You are a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills and are keen to learn. Essential qualities for this role are tenacity, mental toughness, flexibility and a strong work ethic. You will be well versed in the Microsoft suite of products, located in the Central West (likely Bathurst / Orange / Lithgow) already and available to start full time work in July. This is a full time position with occasional opportunity to work from home, but most days are in our Centrally located Bathurst office. You will also be willing to travel to Sydney periodically. You are a curious person, open to feedback and wanting to grow a professional career in a fun industry.
