As a Grants Officer in the Community Benefit Funds Unit, you will be directly responsible for processing activities as they relate to funding applications. You will actively implement best practice grant management principles and support the objectives of the unit.
To excel in this role, you must have a strong customer focus and be highly motivated to deliver outcomes with precision and consistency.
Your key responsibilities
- Undertaking processing activities relevant to the key stages of the funding cycle, including assessment of grant funding applications for eligibility based on funding guidelines.
- Ensuring compliance with funding guidelines and regulations in the assessment process.
- Responding to client inquiries in a high-volume call centre environment, including maintaining accurate records of client interactions.
- Preparation of correspondence to stakeholders as required, using appropriate documents and records management practices.
- Conducting data entry tasks related to grant applications and client information.
- Participating in the development of policies, procedures and guidelines as well as providing input to project initiatives.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of grant assessment processes and client service delivery.
- Contributing to other duties as required within the grant funding cycle.

- Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with high volume processing to deliver quality outcomes in set time frames.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills is essential.
- Intermediate computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & Teams).
