Graphic Designer

About the role:

Dairy Australia is looking for a talented and brand-focused Graphic Designerto work within our Design Studio as part of our Marketing and Communications team. As a member of our team, you'll report directly to the Studio Manager. With the support of a collaborative team, you'll utilise your blend of creative and technical expertise to craft visually compelling designs which also align to our clear brand guidelines. These designs will be tailored to our diverse audiences across digital, web, and print platforms. 

Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will assist you in not only asking the right questions to ensure you fully understand a brief, but also in taking full ownership of the creative design process from start to finish. This entails ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to timelines throughout the project. 

The role requires strong client management skills, as you will be liaising directly with internal clients to bring their briefs to life. 

This is a 12-month parental leave contract, based in our Southbank office in Melbourne’s CBD and we offer flexible working arrangements. 

Skills and experience:

You will bring three to five years of professional graphic design experience gained within a team environment, where you’ve demonstrated responsiveness to multiple projects and stakeholders, in addition to: 

• A strong portfolio showcasing your creative skills and ability to deliver high-quality designs from concept to completion. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
• Ability to receive and implement design feedback. 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat). 
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite. 
• Familiarity with workflow/project management systems and processes.
