Role and Responsibilities

• Develop a winning product strategy aligned with company goals
• Conduct market research to uncover trends, competitor moves, and customer desires
• Partner with vendors and suppliers to negotiate deals, pricing, and exclusive partnerships
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from selection and launch to inventory management and clearance strategies
• Optimise inventory levels to minimise stockouts and excess inventory
• Build strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers
• Drive revenue and profitability by setting and achieving ambitious targets
• Leverage customer insights to improve data-driven decisions
• Ensure all products meet regulatory compliance quality standards
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes that guarantee excellence

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field. An MBA is a plus
• 8 years experience in product management or relevant field
• Proven track record in category management, ideally within consumer goods industry
• Business acumen with ability to make sound business decisions by understanding customer needs, competitor activity and financial targets
• Analytical mind with proficiency in data analysis tools to translate insights into action
• Critical thinking to plan strategic long-term plans that align with business goals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing market conditions
• Leadership experiences and comfortable working with a cross-functional team
• Experience within an outdoor/ adventure product environment is a bonus
