Position Overview:
Are you ready to step into the catering spotlight and lead a team towards event greatness? We're on the lookout for a kitchen virtuoso to join our team as our Head Chef, taking the helm of our back-of-house operations and guiding us to new heights of catering excellence!
As the Head Chef, you'll be the maestro behind the scenes, orchestrating the flawless execution of our catering services with finesse and flair.
And here's the cherry on top – this isn't your typical 9-to-5 grind. We believe in work-life balance, which is why we're offering a thirty eight to forty five hour work week. This is completed under a flexible work agreement. Spread over a four or five day work week, depending on business demands.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Experience managing budgets and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and trends in the catering and hospitality sector.
- Creativity and innovation in menu design and food presentation.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Effective decision-making skills and the ability to navigate uncertainty and challenges.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to drive company vehicles as needed.
- Excellent guest service and hospitality skills, with a commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in outdoor environments.
- Flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Previous experience delegating duties and supervising staff in a fast-paced culinary environment.
Training and Development:
The successful candidate will undergo training, including shadowing managers until fully comfortable and proficient in their role.
