The opportunity:
We are thrilled to present a unique opportunity for an experienced Head of Digital Delivery to join our Group Digital team. Located in the heart of retail, at our Richmond office in Melbourne. The role leads the newly established Group Digital Delivery team, who are a cross-functional team of Product Owners, UX Designers, Developers and other technical resources who are principally responsible for the in-market delivery of key digital projects and initiatives across Brand Collective’s customer-facing digital and ecommerce platforms.
The Head of Digital Delivery is a senior role within the larger group digital team that collectively supports Brand Collective’s ever-growing portfolio retail brands.
Key accountabilities for the role include (but not limited to):
- Lead and mentor the cross-functional Digital Delivery team.
- Oversee a portfolio of Digital projects and initiatives to support the achievement of Brand Collective’s strategic and commercial objectives.
- Support our product/project leads with the delivery of key digital projects and initiatives across all brand ecommerce websites and other customer-facing platforms.
- Assume overall accountability for the ongoing development of the various digital platforms, integrations and services that underpin Brand Collective’s customer-facing platforms.
- Ensure continuity of service and maximum uptime of Brand Collective’s customer-facing digital platforms, especially during peak trade and promotional periods.
- Ensure a best-in-class online user experience and maintain best-practice UX standards across all customer touchpoints.
- Set up and drive our A/B testing and experimentation program to ensure the most refined and optimised online customer experience across our portfolio of brands.
- Vendor and stakeholder management.
- Facilitate key decision-making, project prioritisation and initiation of key projects.
- Support internal partners with business case development and project proposals.
- Identify and communicate potential risks.
- Drive cross-functional coordination and planning with product managers and other project leads.
- Drive the adoption of innovative and disruptive technologies to support the achievement of Brand Collective’s strategic objectives.
- Develop a shared strategy, architecture, and roadmap for Brand Collective’s digital technology stack.
- Ensure platform health and reliability, including maintenance and support to meet operational SLAs.
The skills and experience you offer us:
- 10+ years experience managing a large portfolio of Digital projects and initiatives within a digital agency, consultancy, ecommerce, or Enterprise IT environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field
- Experience leading a large cross-functional digital/product delivery team(s) within a retail environment.
- Strong understanding of UX & CX design principles and CRO techniques.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
- In-depth understanding of ecommerce technologies and practical experience implementing or managing these tools in a commercial setting.
- Experience preparing and developing executive-level communications.
- Understanding of Agile development processes e.g., rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and MVP development.
- Ability to connect diverse individuals with different goals and facilitate productive discussion and action.
- Strong people skills, with experience managing high-performing teams.
- Strong working knowledge of program software (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
