This opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Media to lead TPG Telecom's consumer media team across our Vodafone, TPG and iiNet brands. This role drives the development and execution of innovative media strategies to maximise the impact and effectiveness of our media investment. This role is responsible overseeing the strategy, planning, buying, and optimisation of Media campaigns to achieve commercial and brand objectives. You will lead and mentor an internal team of Media experts as well as managing an extensive range of internal and external stakeholders. You will bring your deep understanding of current media and consumer trends as well as of offline, online, and emerging media channels and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a high-performing media team, fostering a positive culture of collaboration, ownership, development, and ambition.
- Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies to deliver TPG Telecom's commercial and brand objectives.
- Deliver maximum ROI from our consumer digital media investment by leading our team of in-house performance media experts.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams such as marketing, design, brand, sales, digital teams, media agencies and partners to ensure optimally targeted, aligned, and integrated campaigns.
- Ensure that media strategies, plans and reviews are communicated to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively manage our external media agency and media partners to optimize return on media investment.
- Facilitate the media process on our Enterprise business, Lebara and Felix brands.
- Identify and lead improvement opportunities within the team, as well as ensuring appropriate controls are in place to manage risks.
- Proven experience in a senior media role, demonstrating successful development and execution of Media strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- In-depth knowledge of Media channels, both traditional and digital.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
