The Opportunity Join a purpose-driven not for profit as their Head of People reporting to highly experienced, supportive and passionate CEO. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to this important service provider and make a real difference in people's lives as part of the executive team. Take on a leadership role to guide strategic initiatives to create an optimal environment where their people can thrive. You'll work closely with the Executive team to drive change, strengthen employee engagement, and foster a sense of belonging and connectedness to their purpose. Your contributions will directly impact their ability to deliver the lived Vision, Mission and Values. The Role Providing strategic leadership and direction as a key member of the Executive team. With a skilled and diverse board of directors in place the role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing the organization's strategic plan and annual business plans, with a focus on creating an environment where there people can be even more supportive and customer centric. With a team in place you lead all elements of human resources remit, including talent acquisition, talent and organisational development, payroll, workforce planning, workplace relations, and WHS. You'll drive initiatives to strengthen employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and ensure that their policies and procedures align with our organizational values and goals. You'll provide leadership and support to develop and implement plans that operationalize the strategic goals while also ensuring compliance with relevant legislative requirements. About You You are passionate about making a positive impact in people's lives! You will bring significant experience in strategic human resource leadership, with a strong 'hands on" focus across the function with demonstrated team leadership. Would expect a proven track record of leading and developing a HR Function and committed to continuous improvement. Experience in "for purpose' environment will be particularly well regarded. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills enable you to effectively collaborate and influence others at all levels will be highly valued.
