Your New Role
In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape our organisation's human resources strategy. With your previous experience working in a Founder led business and strong FMCG operational knowledge, you will play a key role in collaborating directly with our CEO/Founder. Together, you will develop and execute best-in-class human resource management plans. You will establish a strong partnership with our leadership team, ensuring smooth handling of employment-related matters and contributing to the day-to-day operational excellence of our workplace.
Going beyond traditional HR responsibilities, this role offers a unique combination of strategic influence and hands-on involvement. You will be on the forefront of driving our company's people growth strategies, aligning them with budget considerations. Leading a dedicated P&C team, you will have the chance to collaborate with the Leadership Team to create annual Career Pathway Development Programs, fostering a culture of continuous learning. We are looking for someone who is not only a strong communicator but also ready to roll up their sleeves - a dynamic individual committed to supporting and developing our team, and propelling our organisation on its hyper-growth trajectory.
Your Day to Day:
- Collaborate with the CEO/Founder to align people growth strategies with budget expectations.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop annual Career Pathway Development Programs.
- Facilitate training programs to support individual growth and business needs.
- Drive workforce planning for short and long-term needs.
- Provide business partnering across the employee life cycle, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Coach leaders on effective performance and development sessions.
- Implement people and culture policies and programs, reviewing existing manuals.
- Identify and recognise high performers and outstanding work.
- Foster a high-performance culture that values inclusion and employee satisfaction.
- Assist in company-wide initiatives directed by the CEO.
- Prioritise talent initiatives that align with our company's vision and goals.
- Provide guidance, support, and tools to HR Business Partner and P&C team members.
- Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues and risks.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in people/talent management with the Leadership Team.
- Conduct systematic reviews of P&C policies & processes and share best practices.
Your Skills
- Previous experience working in a founder led business, with strong operational knowledge.
- Demonstrable HR policy knowledge (ANZ, UK, USA markets).
- Exceptional relationship management and consulting skills.
- Excellent planning, organisational, project, and change management skills.
- Understanding of industrial relations and employment frameworks.
- Data-driven decision-making and action.
- Business acumen fostering performance.
- Exemplary leadership and team management.
- Effective in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
