Your New Role

With previous experience working in a Founder led business, and with strong FMCG operational knowledge, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's human resources strategy. Working in direct collaboration with our CEO/Founder, you'll spearhead the development and execution of best-in-class human resource management plans. You’ll establish a robust partnership with the leadership team, ensuring seamless navigation of employment-related matters, and contributing to the day-to-day operational excellence of the workplace.

Beyond the traditional HR scope, this role offers a blend of strategic influence and hands-on involvement. You'll be at the forefront of steering the company's people growth strategies, aligning them with budgetary considerations. Leading a dedicated P&C team, you'll have the opportunity to craft annual Career Pathway Development Programs in collaboration with the Leadership Team, fostering a culture of continuous learning. This role demands not only a strong communicator but someone ready to roll up their sleeves—a dynamic individual committed to supporting and developing our team, propelling the organisation on its hyper-growth trajectory.

Your Day to Day

  • Partner with the CEO/Founder to align people growth strategies with budget expectations.
  • Develop annual Career Pathway Development Programs in collaboration with the Leadership Team.
  • Facilitate training programs for individual growth and business needs.
  • Drive workforce planning for short and long-term needs.
  • Provide business partnering across the employee life cycle, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Coach leaders on effective performance and development sessions.
  • Implement people and culture policies and programs, reviewing existing manuals.
  • Identify and celebrate high performers and outstanding work.
  • Contribute to a high-performance culture fostering inclusion and employee satisfaction.
  • Assist in company-wide initiatives directed by the CEO.
  • Prioritise talent initiatives aligning with the company's vision and goals.
  • Provide guidance, support, and tools to HR Business Partner and P&C team members.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues and risks.
  • Identify people/talent opportunities for improvement with the Leadership Team.
  • Conduct systematic reviews of P&C policies & processes, sharing best practices.

Your Skills

  • Previous experience working in a founder led business, with strong operational knowledge.
  • Demonstrable HR policy knowledge (ANZ, UK, USA markets).
  • Exceptional relationship management and consulting skills.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, project, and change management skills.
  • Understanding of industrial relations and employment frameworks.
  • Data-driven decision-making and action.
  • Business acumen fostering performance.
  • Exemplary leadership and team management.
  • Effective in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
