About the Role:

Reporting to our General Manager Strategic Delivery, you will be responsible for leading, overseeing and strengthening the execution of transformation and enterprise initiatives within Consumer. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to drive change, developing and overseeing Consumer’s transformation roadmap.

You will need to have led and managed multiple Programs and projects including  operational / frontline impacting projects (contact centre, operational functions e.g. complaints, regulatory changes) and to have experience implementing Agile methodologies and leading agile ways of working.

Other key aspects of the role:

  • Driving the transformation and build execution excellence of prioritised programs across Consumer aligned to strategic outcomes.
  • Leading the centralised governance of the Consumer portfolio and change across initiatives impacting consumer, creating a single front door and coordinated approach to implementing initiatives for consumer frontline teams.
  • Supporting the General Manager Strategic Delivery, and Consumer Leadership team on matters relating to Consumer agile ways of working to deliver improved co-ordination, planning and alignment of work across team.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of change management plans to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Leading the project integration team to deliver enterprise initiatives into frontline teams in Direct Contact Centres and Customer Relations.
  • Understanding customer insights and feedback. Act to put the best interests of our customers at the heart of everything we do.
  • Developing and delivering the roadmap for the transformation and change
  • Creating a prioritisation forum with across Consumer, and with key stakeholders, to forward plan and secure investment to deliver the consumer strategy.
  • Preparing and coordinating reports and initiative updates for stakeholders including Consumer Leadership team, the Board and SMT as required.
  • Leading and coaching team members to continuously develop capability, build high performing, collaborative and engaged teams.

Important to your success:

  • A bachelor’s Degree qualification in a related area.
  • Excellent understanding of agile methodologies and demonstrated experience in overseeing the adoption of agile practices within organisations. 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change with highly effective relationship building skills and an ability to negotiate with and influence leaders and senior management.
  • Naturally collaborative with the ability to simplify complex situations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, using judgement to influence prioritisation
  • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Significant experience developing business strategies and leading large, complex programs, and implementation to sustain change.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
