About the Role
Due to expansion, Sime Darby Motors Group is now recruiting for a Permanent, Fulltime Health & Injury Management Advisor to join our diverse and inclusive Safety & Sustainability Team in Parramatta Head office.
The primary responsibility of this role will be to provide strategic rehabilitation and Injury Management for work-related and non-work-related injuries, illnesses and conditions within various SDMG (Sime Darby Motors Group) locations across NSW and will be contributing to injury prevention and health promotion initiatives across the business.
Reporting to the Health & Wellbeing Manager, as a professional in your field, your role will also involve the following key duties:
- Lead and deliver strategic Injury Management processes across relevant SDMG businesses, facilitating safe and timely return to work outcomes.
- Implementation of existing protocols and processes for the management of work-related and non-work-related injuries and conditions.
- Establish effective relationships with various stakeholders including business managers and supervisors, safety representatives, employees, treating health providers and insurance case managers.
- Provide direction, coaching and support to SDMG business units on the Injury Management process for both work-related and non-work-related injuries and conditions.
- Perform job task analysis and contribute to the Sime Darby Motors Job Dictionary, supporting pre-employment and return to work management.
- Management of the Sime Darby Health Monitoring Program in NSW.
- Lead and deliver injury prevention, preventative Health and wellbeing initiatives.

About You
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience operating within the Workplace Injury Management and Workers Compensation Act 1998 (NSW)
- Current working knowledge of icare and Injury Management processes and regulations within the scheme.
- Degree qualified as Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional
- Current registration with relevant professional body
- First Aid Certificate
- Previous exposure to automotive industries and/or mining/heavy equipment and the legislation and current regulations they operate within
- Extensive experience in workplace rehabilitation and return to work investigation and reporting.
