Health And Medical Practice Manager (Bundaberg)

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

As the Health and Medical Practice Manager at IWC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient delivery of high-quality clinical services within the scope of the IWC Medical Centre. You will be responsible for managing and leading a team of administrative and healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes.

KEY DUTIES: 

• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
• Oversee day-to-day medical operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance with regulations, and adherence to quality standards.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to medical staff, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare laws and standards.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in Health or Medical Practice Management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance, quality assurance and regulations such as ISO, QIP, AGPAL or NDIS Q&S Commission.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:     

• A current driver's licence or ability to obtain. 
• A First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain.
• Complete COVID-19 Vaccination Status (as per IWC Policy).
• A Federal Police Check or ability to obtain.
• A Blue Card (Working with Children Card QLD)* or ability to obtain.

* No Card, No Start legislation means that the successful applicant will need to hold a valid blue card before they start work. IWC will cover the cost of this application for the successful candidate.
