Our client is seeking a Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) Specialist to enhance workplace safety and wellbeing. Coach the business on risk management, implement HSW systems, and drive continuous improvement to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) initiatives and programs.
- Enhance the HSW management system and initiatives.
- Conduct investigations, assess risks, and coach staff to minimize hazards.
- Contribute to HSW reports with data analytics and insights.
- Identify and address trends to reduce injuries and illnesses.
- Promote health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives.
Skills & Competencies
- 4 + years of experience in Work, Health & Safety related roles
- Experience in hazard identification, risk assessments, and HSW program implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Victorian OHS and WIRC legislation.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Proven ability to develop and implement safety initiatives and manage incidents.
- Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety, Risk Management, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
