Job Description: As an IT Business Support, you will have the unique opportunity to support a government agency in maintaining their technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations. You will provide technical assistance to staff members, troubleshoot IT issues, and assist with the implementation of IT solutions. This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our government client.
- Provide Level 1-2 IT support to hundreds of end-users, and escalate issues when required to relevant teams
- Be the point of contact for all incoming incidents over the phone, email or face to face and log tickets
- Troubleshoot issues related to Systems, Applications, Software, Hardware or Networking
- Provide Remote support in a hosted environment supporting a broad range of business applications
- Work on a broad range of technologies such as Windows OS, Office 365, Mac OS, IOS & Android, routers, switches, wifi, etc.
- Adhere to SLAs with a strong customer focus
- Previous experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a local government or public sector environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, and/or Linux).
- Familiarity with network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
