AddressJob Description: As an IT Business Support, you will have the unique opportunity to support a government agency in maintaining their technology infrastructure and ensuring seamless operations. You will provide technical assistance to staff members, troubleshoot IT issues, and assist with the implementation of IT solutions. - Provide Level 1-2 IT support to hundreds of end-users, and escalate issues when required to relevant teams
- Be the point of contact for all incoming incidents over the phone, email or face to face and log tickets
- Troubleshoot issues related to Systems, Applications, Software, Hardware or Networking
- Provide Remote support in a hosted environment supporting a broad range of business applications
- Work on a broad range of technologies such as Windows OS, Office 365, Mac OS, IOS & Android, routers, switches, wifi, etc.
- Adhere to SLAs with a strong customer focus
- Previous experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in a local government or public sector environment.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, and/or Linux).
- Familiarity with network technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
