The Hospital Services Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe management of catering, waste and cleaning services for staff, patients and visitors. You will be a passionate, well organised and people-orientated individual looking to take the next step in their career. This rewarding, hands-on role will draw on your organisational and people management skills to deliver high quality audited outcomes and exceptional customer service within set time frames. You will showcase strong time management skills to be able to monitor outcomes whilst working alongside your team providing direction and support. Management of various waste streams includes general and recyclable waste.
Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience managing a team i.e. rosters, performance, annual reviews
- Demonstrated experience in a kitchen, housekeeping or cleaning role preferably in a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of the Australian / QLD Health Cleaning Standards and infection control procedures
- Able to undertake physical work including lifting, carrying and manual handling
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft products
- Relevant Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or the ability to obtain is essential
