ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Service worker (Cleaning & Laundry) at our Duncraig facility. This role is offered on a permanent part time basis working 41.5 hrs per fortnight.
Week 1
Monday 0600 - 1400
Wednesday 0815 - 1415 (Laundry)
Friday 0700 - 1230
Sunday 0700-1230
Week 2
Wednesday 0700 - 1300 (Laundry)
Saturday 0700-1230
Sunday 0700-1230
Please note, you must be able to commit to all days/shifts to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
As a Hospitality (Cleaning & Laundry) Services worker you will be responsible for managing cleaning and laundry routines in line with the schedule.
ABOUT YOU
Essential criteria
- Previous cleaning and laundry experience within the aged care sector
- Knowledge of fabrics and appropriate washing techniques
- Competent with stock control and ordering processes
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Demonstrated ability to manage and meet deadlines in line with routines and schedules
- Sound verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Valid Police Clearance no older than 6 months (or ability to obtain at interview stage)
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage)
- Evidence of Flu (2023) and Covid Vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Willingness to attend a paid 1-day (Monday) induction at our Rivervale Training Institute
