The Opportunity
We have an exciting vacancy for a Housing Services Advisor/ Reception. Reporting to the Housing Services – Team Leader, the role is primarily responsible for reception duties and a range of critical administrative duties and duties relating to the housing activity.
The position requires the successful candidate to be a team player, who is flexible and have strong attention to detail, who is keen to learn and grow and who can communicate well to perform the daily duties to meet the expectation of the team and our clients.

The position is a full-time ongoing role based in Melbourne.

Skills and Experiences:
About You:
- Experience in handling queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence
- Experience in managing office supplies, organising travel and event coordination both internally and externally
- Previous administrative / reception experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail
- Capacity and attitude to learn and grow in the role
- Well-developed written and oral communication and relationship management skills
- Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
- Experience in dealing with complex customer needs
- Experience in dealing with challenging customers
- Experience and knowledge of the social housing sector in Victoria
- Experience with the Victorian Housing Register and HiiP
- Knowledge of the income support system for people on very low incomes
