The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated, dedicated HR Administrator, to help grow our current HR department of one.
Motobility is fast paced, innovative, and growing rapidly. Just 4 years ago we were retailing mobility equipment, now we manufacture, wholesale, upholster in house, have an ecommerce site AND today we’re preparing to franchise! It’s a lot, we know!

Your Day to Day
- End to end recruitment; job ads, interviews, contracts and hiring
- Onboarding and offboarding employees
- Handling employee relations
- Booking staff training and development
- Assist in supporting the management team with review documentation, job descriptions, uniform orders and more
- Conducting Payroll for 45 employees
- OH&S inspections, incidents, workers compensation claims
- Coordinate employee benefits, gifts and events
- Projects galore! We need to create training videos for management, automate onboarding, develop our HR software, collaborate on new processes and procedures and implement culture development strategies.
Required Attributes, Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Certificate IV or Diploma in HR desirable
- Experience conducing payroll desirable
- Prior experience with contracts, policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and the Modern Awards system
- Excellent communication both verbally and non-verbally, build trust, and actively listen without bias
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Fast learner
- Great Organisational skills
- Attention to detail & ability to multi task
- No experience in OH&S (no stress, we'll teach you)
- Willingness to undergo NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) New Workers Check
- Willingness to receive any vaccinations required by the NDIS
