The role:We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven Human Resources Advisor to grow your career and join our close and collaborative team at Daimler Truck. Based at our Head Office in Mulgrave, you will partner closely with our business whilst working in synergy with our HR team to provide support across the critical areas of Employee Relations, Policies, Learning & Development, Diversity and Inclusion, and HR Compliance.Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, your responsibilities will include:Representing the company's interests and goals with any employee relations matters, mitigating risk and observing policies, procedures, and operating practicesProviding advice, guidance and end-to-end support to managers and HR Business Partners to effectively manage disciplinary matters, disputes and grievance in accordance with company values, policies and guidelinesSupport the delivery of organisational development projects aimed at achieving best practice and a high performing, diverse workplaceSupport the development, implementation and reviewing of HR policies and proceduresBe the subject matter expert for HR Policies within the business Build employee capability by managing the implementation of learning and development programs including individual performance plans, induction and leadership programsFoster a positive climate for innovation and change, identify the need for change and support the execution of change programs across the businessSupport the business areas to ensure compliance with current and forthcoming legislation and internal standardsEnsuring all HR related compliance controls are in place, including regular reviews, audits and trainingSupport local and global HR projects and enhance the HR communication channelsInteract and collaborate with our global HR counterparts (Headquarters and Regions)Contribute to a positive and inspirational company culture. Contribute to the overall HR Team cohesion, top performance, and excellence Who we are looking for:As the successful candidate, you will be passionate about HR! A self-driven, competent and confident HR professional with solid generalist experience, you will possess an inclusive and team-oriented approach. You will be a good verbal communicator with strong written communication skills in order to create company-wide internal HR updates and coordinate internal promotions and events supporting and encouraging diversity in our workplace, as well as managing HR responses to complex ER matters. Naturally, you will love working with people and you will have demonstrated business partnering, consulting, counselling and coaching skills. You will have the ability to work autonomously, quickly getting to know our business to become confident with decision-making and problem solving. You will be highly organised and have the ability to juggle multiple and often conflicting priorities, managing and meeting deadlines and proactively planning ahead across all of your topics. Most of all you will be a customer centric individual with strong interpersonal skills who has the natural ability to engage, influence and build strong relationships with the business and lead transformational and cultural change programs and people-centred change management.
