About this 18-month opportunity:In this busy People Business Partner role, you will provide day-to-day HR advice, coaching, and side-by-side support to senior operational managers. With a focus on ER and IR, each day will be different and your ability to balance competing priorities and embed yourself as a commercial and strategic partner will ensure your success.Scope are one of the largest disability services provider in Australia and there are a range of organisation-wide projects running over the next 12 to 18 months that will provide a variety of opportunities for skill development in strategic HR project areas. This is a critical role in the Business Partner team and would suit someone with a continuous improvement mindset.As a complex, regulated industry, expertise in managing workplace investigations, performance management, and identifying key capability development needs is essential. Scope are first and foremost a disability services provider and prior experience in health, aged care or disability services would allow you to smoothly transition into this environment. Prior experience in any geographically dispersed, Award or EA covered industry is essential. We partner with multiple unions and confidence in engaging in these relationships is advantageous.What you will come with:
- 8-10 years' experience, 3-5 years of which will be in a HR BP role within a geographically dispersed workforce
- Knowledge of the principals and well developed skills in managing workplace investigations
- Prior experience managing major workplace change
- Knowledge of the SCHADS Award preferred
- Experience working with an Award covered workforce is essential
- Prior experience liaising with unions is essential
- A collaborative, consultative, coaching-focused approach to Business Partnering
- Strong commercial acumen, comfortable relying on data to pull insights and identify opportunities to support your business unit
