We are working with a local council in Sydney's Southwest where they are looking for an enthusiastic HR Business Partner to foster strong relationships with client groups to deliver innovative solutions and holistic human resources services. This role would focus on recruitment and selection, industrial relations, performance management and position management with the aim to deliver proactive and customer focused services.
Role
As a HR Business Partner, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Provide advice and guidance on organizational restructures, training to managers and supervisors and deliver high quality, proactive and strategic human resources services.
- Coordinate all aspects of the employment process including advertising, short listing, interviewing, employment checks and employment offers.
- Provide assistance and collaborate with subject matter experts within the Employee Services team.
- Contribute as an effective team member to enable identifies strategies, plans and customer services to be achieved.
- Maintain and support systems to manage information and documentation.
- Demonstrate a strong customer focus.
- Contract: 6 month temporary role
- Hours: Monday to Friday 35 hours per week
- Location: Oran Park
- Salary: $40-$45/hour + superannuation
As a successful HR Business Partner, you will offer:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability apply industrial awards, employment legislation, policies and procedures.
- Experience in Local Government.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
