About the role As HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in providing HR guidance and support to the VIC leadership team and broader business. Lead on various HR initiatives, coaching for best practice, and capability uplift to drive organisational success.
Key focuses include:
Manage complex employee and industrial relations matters to mitigate risk and deliver resolved outcomes; Provide strategic assistance on enterprise agreements and compliance matters; Lead HR initiatives aligned to commercial and people-centric goals; Actively contribute to enterprise agreement negotiations, leveraging support of an IR Specialist; Coach leaders to build capability, advise on workforce planning, and foster trusted partnerships; Lead and support culture, engagement and change initiatives to drive efficiencies. About You A true partner to your stakeholders, you thrive in an environment where you can take ownership for your portfolio and support others’ success. Additionally, you will posses: Significant experience in managing complex employee and industrial matters; Negotiation experience preferable. Passion for building knowledge and applying expertise in employee relations; Ability to balance strategic responsibilities with hands on leadership and coaching; Enthusiasm for partnering with Centres of Expertise (COEs) to optimise enterprise strategies and processes; Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder relationships; Proactive and outcomes focused approach, with strong commercial acumen; Analytical mindset and the ability to present informed solutions for improvements; Demonstrated experience in change management and restructures; Efficiency in managing high priority tasks in fast paced environments; Confidence to challenge and propose effective solutions for improvements.
