About the Role 

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Coordinator provides effective and timely administrative and coordination support across the entire employment life cycle, ensuring that all HR systems function seamlessly and meet legislative and organisational requirements. You will become a trusted member of the team, building relationships with key department managers and responding to queries regarding HR policies and procedures across the organisation. With well established systems and processes in place you will have the ability to make this role your own with opportunity to support other initiatives to enhance employee engagement and performance across Culture & Engagement, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Talent & Capability. 

 
Key duties and responsibilities of the role:
  • Support the end-to-end Recruitment process 
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding process for employees 
  • Administer all employee change letters (promotions, contract amendments, secondments, flexible work arrangements, parental leave and other adhoc letters)
  • Maintain the HRIS (ConnX), employee records and other HR related documentation on the intranet
  • Support managers in the application of HR policies and procedures, and assist with HR policy updates
  • Provide advice to employees and people leaders on employment terms and conditions and payroll matters 
  • Update the monthly org chart along with monthly headcount, leave and other reporting as required
  • Support the HR Manager with the annual performance review cycle
  • Administer the Reward and Recognition program as well as Employee Service Awards
  • Identify and implement improvements to current processes
  • Provide administrative support to the MD as required
 
Your skills and experience:
  • Solid experience administering all facets of the HR lifecycle 
  • Experience in maintaining HRIS and ESS (ConnX and MicrOpay preferrable)
  • Operational knowledge of HR legislation and relevant Awards 
  • Tertiary education, diploma or certificate in Human Resources (desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve and organise work schedule to meet all deadlines
  • Pro-active with process improvement mindset
  • Understand the need to maintain a high-level of confidentiality
