Are you looking to expand your HR career in a fast-moving, professional and friendly environment? Our client, a multi-office commercial law firm, is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join their dynamic team for a 12 month Maternity Leave Contract.Role Overview:
As the HR Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the human resources function of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include assisting in various HR activities, ensuring compliance with polices and regulations, and enhancing the overall employee experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
- Assist in onboarding and orientation activities for new hires
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Support the administration of performance reviews, working closely with team leaders and managers to ensure timely and constructive feedback
- Support HR initiatives such as performance management, employee engagement and talent development
- Assist in the administration of salary/benefits programs and leave management
- Coordinate and support the firm’s mentor program, facilitating mentor-mentee pairings and monitoring program effectiveness
- Act as a point of contact for employee relation matters, addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Oversee offboarding procedures, exit interviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or in a similar HR role
- Solid understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related Diploma
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

Salary circa $70,000-$80,000 plus superannuation on experience.
